The story of Caftanbladi traces back to the 12th century AD, during the Almohad Caliphate. Almohad sultans sought a majestic garment befitting their status. This Moroccan dress was crafted from the clothing of Moroccan tribes, blended with the traditional weaving techniques of sfifa and aqad, made in Fez. The story of all Moroccans who wear this ancient garment is intertwined with this tradition, and it was this that inspired us to share the beauty and heritage of the caftan with the world.
